Transforming Transportation Nomination & Scholarship Information
The UCLA Lake Arrowhead Symposium is an invitation-only gathering of policymakers, planners, analysts and advocates, held in October at the scenic Lake Arrowhead Conference Center in the San Bernardino Mountains. In 2023, we’ll examine how governments can overcome obstacles to deliver a transformed transportation system.
If you’re interested in attending, please fill out the nomination form below. Our team will review submissions and notify invitees within 3-5 business days. Symposium communications are sent via MailChimp from arrowhead@uclaarrowheadsymposium.org. These emails may not appear in your primary inbox and some invitees have reported finding these emails in their organization’s spam filters. If you are expecting but have not received an invitation to register, please search your email including Spam for communications.
Scholarship Opportunity
We encourage all who seek to address justice in cities as part of their paid or unpaid work — either through research, policy, planning or community engagement — to attend the UCLA Arrowhead Symposium. As such, we have the opportunity to grant a limited number of full and partial scholarships to those working in the field for whom the cost of attendance is a financial hardship. Priority will go to those who work to advance equity in transportation as part of their compensated or uncompensated work, those for whom the Symposium would aid in their professional development, and those with a diversity of perspectives and lived experiences or who have been marginalized from governmental and academic power structures.
